Welcome to the Zhik World! Zhik's goal is to design wet gear that will provide sailors with a competitive edge.
ZhikSkin MicroFleece is relatively thin (1mm) super stretchy neoprene, laminated with a very fine inner layer of silver fleece. This material combines to bring you a suit that is as warm as your traditional 2 or 3mm neoprene, however the suit is ultra-light.
Like all Zhik suits, the seat and knee pad areas have a special abrasion resistant nylon material. This is comparable to Kevlar but much softer to the skin.
Suits come in both men and womens designs. Hiker version available.
ZhikTex: has a very high abrasive resistance and yet it is soft and comfortable. Zhik uses this material for areas in the suit that need extra durability.
ZhikSkin Microfleece: an ultra lightweight, thin, hyper stretchy material that provides a wide operational temperature range. Cool in hot weather, yet toasty warm when combined with other inner wear.
