Proctor Masts has been producing spars since 1960. Proctor are the world's most experienced aluminium mast builders and has consistently been the name on masts of winning boats for over 40 years. There are a wide range of spars for dinghies available. You will find many of these in our online store.

Each mast is manufactured with precision, which guarantees that every mast for a given class delivers identical performance. So you can be sure you are receiving the same mast as the champions.

As well as masts, booms and spinnakers, Proctor also produces top quality fittings.

Mast & Boom Sections
The right choice of spar section is crucial to your boats performance. Proctor spars are developed taking into consideration bending and dynamic characteristics such as gust response. If you are unsure as to what mast best suits your class of boat either contact us via Customer Enquiry or look at our One Design page, your class of boat may be listed here.

NEWS: Proctor Carbon Spars   Proctor has now released its new range of carbon spars. The new Proctor carbon spars feature teardrop shaded profiles and a unique step-down taper system. The teardrop profile gives the spar the required stiffness ratios fore and aft to counteract the upwind kicker loads. The teardrop profile also gives improved aerodynamics. So the spar will directly increase life and reduce drag, allowing a cleaner air entry onto the luff of the mainsail.
